Claymore Hotel - What's On in and around Arrochar and Dunbartonshire

Great hotel with a perfect setting. The rooms are very nice and with great views over Loch Lomond. The indoor pools here are huge, and there is an outdoor hot tub overlooking the Loch. Definitely a unique hotel that is worth a night stay!

Great little golf course and facilities

Terminus of the suburban line between here and Airdrie. The nice original station building was across the road, and is now a visitor information centre. The line used to continue on to a station on the pier head on the shore of Loch Lomond, where passengers and goods could transfer to steam ship to continue North. One of these ships is still in situ, being restored by volunteers, and can be visited. Today’s station is a single platform, and has a small waiting room and staffed ticket office. No car park, but on street parking in the adjacent side streets.

Plenty to do, good eating places, great loch side tour boats

Here today. Lovely experience. The staff were so nice and attentive. Especially nurse Dawn Davies.... she was so kind and caring.

This hospital is so needed in this s area has great facilities & can b a matter of life or death !!!
